Women's Soccer

"From the Towers" with Erskine AD Mark Peeler

Fleet Faithful,

Six straight conference wins for our men's soccer team earned them a third seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. The Fleet were picked at the bottom of the pre-season standings then started the season 1-3. What a remarkable run by Coach Warren Turner and his squad as they finished with a winning record at 8-7-1 and 7-3 in conference play. This team is primed to make a serious run at the Conference Carolinas title which starts Saturday.

Speaking of Saturday, it will be a great (and busy!) day to catch Fleet Athletics in action in Due West. Men's soccer will entertain Emmanuel at 2 pm at Huggins Field in the Conference Carolinas Quarterfinals. Women's volleyball will be in action at noon against King. As well, men's basketball will take to the hardwood at 5 pm in the Galloway Center as they play Peach Belt foe North Georgia. Come join us for a full day!

Volleyball will also play Lees-McRae at 7 pm on Friday night while the men's basketball team will open up their season against Georgia College at 4 pm. Our women's basketball team will tip-off their season at Newberry on Friday and Saturday as they face the Wolves and Francis Marion in back to back days. Our women's cross country team will be competing in the NCAA DII Southeast Regional on Saturday at Wingate University. The team earned their trip with a second place finish in Conference Carolinas.

Basketball season hospitality tickets are available to be purchased via our website at www.erskinesports.com to get your season passes. As always, Aramark and Randy Moore do a tremendous job providing wonderful meals in the Hospitality Room during basketball season. You don't want to miss out on enjoying this treat during home basketball games!

The 2020 Football schedule is out in publication. Join the Dode Phillips Football Booster Club today and receive a free color poster of the inaugural season. We are 304 days from the kick-off against Catawba, it will be here before we all know it! To join the booster club click here.
