HOW IT HAPPENED
After constant rainfall in the Due West area through the early parts of the week forced the game to be moved from Tuesday to Wednesday and shifted to a turf facility in Anderson, the Fleet jumped out to an early lead. In the eighth minute, Rebekah Wiles kept the ball in play on the touch line inside the YHC penalty box and shifted the ball onto her right foot before firing it into the back of the net for her team-leading fourth goal of the season to put Erskine in front. The Fleet were well-organized defensively through the first half and six saves from Valentina Santana kept Erskine's 1-0 advantage heading into the break. However, the Mountain Lions scored on a free kick in the 52nd minute to draw level and then took the lead in the 67th minute as Wiles' early goal proved to be not enough for the Fleet on Wednesday.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine finishes the regular season on Friday, when the Fleet welcome in one of the conference's best in 2025, Belmont Abbey College (12-4-1, 10-1-1 CC) at 1 p.m.
