Men's soccer continued their stellar play Saturday as they came from behind in the last five minutes to win their quarterfinal match in the Conference Carolinas Tournament against Emmanuel, 2-1. Freshman Vincent Stulec scored the game-tying goal with less than five minutes to play then senior Sam James scored with less than two minutes to play to lift the Fleet. Men's soccer finished their season with seven straight conference wins.  Erskine advanced to Friday afternoon's semi-finals at 2 pm at Chowan. The Fleet will be taking on #7 seeded Mount Olive, who Erskine beat 4-2 earlier in the season. Congrats to senior Dario Pavan (Madrid, Spain) for being named to the Conference Carolinas 1^st Team. Junior Vincente Martinez Belosa was named to the 2^nd Team while goalie Alex Pico and Vincent Stulec were named 3^rd team. Head Coach Warren Turner picked up his third "Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year" Award as he led the Fleet to their best season in seven years. These guys are primed to win a championship this weekend!

Our women's soccer team will open NCCAA regional play on Thursday as they face Columbia International (@Brewton Parker College).  The Fleet will look to advance to the regional championship on Saturday.

The men's and women's cross country teams will make the long trip to the College of the Ozarks this Saturday to compete in the NCCAA Nationals in Missouri. This should be a great experience for this young group who have enjoyed much success this season.

Women's volleyball will wrap up their regular season at home on Friday night. The team will enter NCCAA regional play in Winston-Salem, NC at the end of next week.

Both basketball teams are on the road this week against rival Lander. The men will play in Greenwood at 7 pm on Wednesday. The women will tip-off against the Bearcats at 11 am on Thursday as part of Lander's "Education Day."

Our football team will complete their fall practice this Friday.  We are 298 days from the first kick-off on September 5^th so it is not too early to begin supporting the Fleet football program.
