Men's Soccer Team raises funds for Evan Coleman

Due West, SC – There are times when God reminds our student-athletes of how fortunate they are: to be healthy, to attend college, and to compete at such a high level athletically.  The Erskine Men’s Soccer Team has been reminded of these special gifts through a member of men’s soccer community.

In August this year, 13 year old Evan Coleman passed away after a 5 year fight with malignant melanoma.  Evan was the son of assistant men’s soccer coach Paul Coleman of Mount Olive College.

To help with medical costs and other expenses, the Erskine Men’s Soccer Team is raising funds for the Coleman family.  Members of the Erskine Men’s Soccer Team will be asking for a donation at their next two home games, Saturday, September 15th against Francis Marion University, and Tuesday, September 18th against North Greenville University.

The donations will be presented to Paul Coleman and his family next Saturday, September 21st, when the Flying Fleet travel to Mount Olive College for their soccer game.
