In the 12th minute, the visitors took the lead on an excellent finish from the top of the box, forcing the Fleet to play from behind throughout the remainder of the afternoon.
Marc Navarro and
David Torres combined to make six saves in goal for the Fleet to keep them within a goal, and
Jahdai Prince and
Peyton Williams each had shots on target, but Erskine could not find an equalizing goal.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by Emmanuel 21 to 7, and the Lions had a 7 to 3 advantage in shots on target. Emmanuel committed 12 fouls to Erskine's 5 in the match, and the Lions were called for both yellow cards that were issued.
