Box Score Hartsville, S.C. – Playing their first of three consecutive away games, Erskine lost to Coker 1-0 in overtime in Conference Carolinas men’s soccer action at Coker Soccer Field.

Through ninety minutes, Erskine and Coker battled to a scoreless tie.  Coker held a slight shot advantage at 17 to 11 with both goalkeepers recording a combined 13 saves.

Five minutes into the first overtime, Coker’s Matt Taylor corralled a shot deflection in front of the net and quickly pushed it back to seal the victory for the Cobras.  Coker had three shots in the overtime period.

Erskine falls to 5-5-3 overall and 4-2-1 in conference while Coker climbs to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in conference.

Erskine travels on Wednesday to play King College.  Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
