Morrow, GA – #21 Clayton State scored three goals in the first twenty minutes to defeat the Flying Fleet 3-0 Wednesday night.   It was the first loss of the season for the Fleet, who are now 2-1 on the season.  Meanwhile, Clayton State improves to 5-0 on the year.

Clayton State struck quickly scoring in the first two minutes on a corner kick that Jonathan Ray blasted past the Erskine goalkeeper Roberto de la Vina.  Clayton State added two more goals in the next seventeen minutes before the young Fleet team settled down.  The Fleet held Clayton State scoreless through the second half.  Clayton State outshot the Fleet 24 to 7.  Goalkeeper Roberto de la Vina finished the night with 8 saves.

Erskine is back on the road this weekend against Pfeiffer University.   Kick-off is set for 1 p.m.
