Box Score Mars Hill, N.C. – Erskine yielded two late goals and lost 2-1 to the Lions of Mars Hill College in non-conference women's soccer action at Meares Stadium.

Sophomore Jamie Morris (Columbia, SC, Blythewood High School) put the Fleet up 1-0 in the first half.  In the 25^th minute, Morris blasted a shot from 25 yards out that the Mars Hill goalkeeper could not stop.

In the second half, the Fleet held the Lions scoreless until the 74^th minute when Leah Taylor connected off a rebound of Catherine Watkins-Banks' shot.

Mars Hill added the game-winning goal six minutes later off a corner kick.

Mars Hill held a commanding advantage in shots at 21-3.

Erskine goalkeeper Ashton Burgess (Greenwood, SC, Emerald High School) recorded 8 saves, snapping her five game streak of 10 or more saves.

Erskine returns to action on Monday against Columbia College.  Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
