MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer defeated the Fleet 5-2 in Conference Carolinas women’s soccer action at N.E. Lefko Field. 

Pfeiffer scored their first goal just 14 seconds into the game when Serae Mele sent a cross over to Alyssa Wombwell who went top shelf.  Pfeiffer added another goal fifteen minutes later to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Erskine cut the lead to one quickly in the second half when Chinaka Springer connected on an assist by Kimrey Angotti-Smith.   Unfortunately, just twelve minutes later, Alyssa Wombwell scored her second goal to put Pfeiffer back up by two.  Chinaka Springer scored again to bring the Fleet within one when Alyssa Wombwell scored her third goal earning her the hat trick.  Pfeiffer added a fifth goal late in the game.
