Banner Elk, NC- Erskine women’s soccer suffer their third loss of the season to the Lees-McRae Bobcats 1-0 Saturday afternoon. Erskine goalkeeper Si’Ara Washington played an excellent game as she made 11 saves on the afternoon.
Lees-McRae’s Vickie Rich struck in the 13th minute of play to put the Bobcats up 1-0 and outside of the Fleet’s reach. Bobcat goalkeeper Brittany Bolton made two saves on the afternoon as she earned the shut out for Lees-McRae.
The Fleet were out-shot this afternoon 19-4. With the loss, Erskine slips to 0-3 while the Bobcats improve to 2-3.
Erskine take to the field again this coming Wednesday as they travel to UNC-Pembroke for a match scheduled for 2:00 PM.
