PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Erskine College men's golf team continued their 2025 spring season in the Spring Bulldog Clash, hosted by Barton College, at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club earlier this week. Erskine finished 5th as a team in the event and were led by senior Laurenz Meifels, who finished ninth individually and was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Golfer of the Week
  
SPRING BULLDOG CLASH

• The 54-hole event, hosted by the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawley's Island, S.C. is a two-day tournament.
• The course played to a par of 70.
• The field consists of 19 teams and a total of 105 participants.

THE FIELD
Wingate won the event with a 15-under performance across the three rounds, edging Arkansas-Fort Smith by one stroke. Lander's Gaston Elberg won the individual title in the event with 12-under scorecard, squeezing past Arkansas-Fort Smith's Jeremy Tandoy in the final round.

Erskine continues its season at the Bearcat Classic, hosted by Lander University, in Greenwood, S.C. on March 3-4.
