ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Erskine College men's golf team began their 2025 spring season in The Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, hosted by Lincoln Memorial University, at the St. Johns GCC earlier this week. Erskine finished 9th as a team in the event.
  
THE SPRING KICKOFF INTERCOLLEGIATE

• The 54-hole event, hosted by the St. Johns GCC in St. Augustine, Fla. is a two-day tournament.
• The course played to a par of 72.
• The field consists of 19 teams and a total of 100 participants.

THE FIELD
The hosts, Lincoln Memorial, won the event with a 14-under performance across the three rounds, beating the rest of the field by five strokes. Georgia Southwestern's Felipe Gomez won the individual title in the event with a 5-under scorecard in the final round to come from fourth place to begin the round and finish three strokes ahead of second place.
