DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team named Jason Sall as the next head coach of the program, Director of Athletics Mark Peeler announced on Monday.

"Jason might be young, but as both a player and assistant coach this past year, he has demonstrated a maturity and professionalism that we want in Fleet Athletics. I am happy he is willing to take on leadership of this program and look forward to watching him and the program develop over the next few years," Peeler said. "This is a great opportunity for Jason that will also provide a positive reward for Fleet men's volleyball moving forward."

A native of New Lenox, Illinois, Sall joined the Fleet in 2020 and appeared in 85 matches over the course of four seasons as an outside/opposite hitter. A team captain as a junior and senior, Sall took a significant leap forward in his final season, earning All-Conference Carolinas, All-Tournament, and Academic All-Conference honors, helping the Fleet to their most wins since the 2016 season.

In 2024, Sall was named as an Assistant Coach for the Fleet and helped guide Erskine to another successful season, as the Fleet went 9-5 in Conference Carolinas play and earned another top-3 seed in the conference tournament.

"I'm extremely blessed to able to lead the program that has meant so much to me for the last 6 years. I committed to continuing to grow this team not only as athletes, but as people," Sall said. "Thank you to Erskine College for allowing me to lead this program that has helped shape me into who I am today!"

The Fleet graduated a tremendous senior class, but Sall takes the helm of a program that has continued success in recent years as he begins preparations for the 2025 campaign.
