DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball developmental team A won a pair of games in the opening round of the 2024 Conference Carolinas Developmental Championship on Monday at Belk Arena and advanced to next Monday's semifinals.
Erskine Team A opened the day with a matchup against Erskine Team B and secured a 63-56 win. Team A was right back in action in the next game against Emmanuel University and the Fleet used balanced scoring to take a 69-51 win and secure their spot in the semifinals.
After a narrow loss in Team B's opener, they responded with a high-scoring victory over Emmanuel to wrap up the day, 87-80, behind a game-high 28 points from
Will Clark in the consolation game.

Erskine Team A advances to the semifinals of the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Developmental Championships, hosted by Converse University, next Monday, February 12. The Fleet will take on Belmont Abbey Team A in the semifinals at 12 p.m., and if Erskine wins, they will play the winner of the other semifinal between Barton and Southern Wesleyan in the championship game at 4 p.m.
