LEXINGTON, Ky. — The American Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce its 33rd annual National Collegiate Men's Volleyball All-America Teams. Erskine junior outside hitter Kacper Rybarcyzk was named as an honorable mention.
The selections were made by the AVCA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball All-America Committee: chairperson Alan Knipe (Long Beach State), Sam Albus (Lees-McRae), Kevin Burch (Ohio State), John Cash (Lincoln Memorial), Jay Hosack (George Mason), David Kniffin (UC Irvine), Ray Lewis (Merrimack), Mark Pavlik (Penn State), Rock Perrotte (Purdue Fort Wayne), John Speraw (UCLA), Derek Sullivan (Belmont Abbey), Matt Werle (Grand Canyon), and Larry Wrather (Fort Valley State), and the list encompasses student-athletes across all levels of college volleyball.
Rybarczyk, a native of Warsaw, Poland, helped lead Erskine to the No. 2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Rybarczyk averaged a conference second-best 4.42 points per set in league play while also hitting .348. He averaged 3.81 kills per set in conference matches. The Warsaw, Poland native was also among the top-10 in the conference in aces per set at 0.28. He was also named Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year for the 2023 season.
