BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Fleet Women's Golf Team continued their fall 2022 season with a solid showing at the King Invitational the past two days.
Amanda Guzman finished tied for 9th place individually as she helped lead Erskine to a 3rd place finish as a team.
KING INVITATIONAL
- The 36-hole event, hosted by Bristol Country Club in Bristol, Tenn. is a two-day tournament.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consists of 9 teams and a total of 44 participants.

Converse University (307-298=605 - 1st)
North Greenville University (319-315=634 - 2nd)
Belmont Abbey College (314-331=645 - 4th)
Emmanuel College (333-321=654 - 6th)
*Barton College (256-333=589 - 7th)
King University (332-335=667 - 8th)
*Barton competed with just 4 participants
THE FIELD
Converse University took home the title all five of their golfers finishing in the top 13, including four in the top 10. The Valkyries' Ava O'Sullivan won the individual title in the event with a 2-over 146 (74-72).
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet continue their fall season in the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate on October 17 and 18 in Jekyll Island, Georgia, hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.
