GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their 2024-25 women's golf all-conference selections following the conference championship, and the Fleet represented all three of the major individual honors, as well as having five golfers named to the all-conference team.
Anni Krawinkel was selected Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Year and Freshman of the Year,
Madison Freeman was tabbed Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year, and Krawinkel,
Lina Lindqvist,
Lisa Steingrube,
Lilian Alexander, and
Maddie McNeece were all named to the All-Conference Carolinas team.
Freeman, in her first season as head coach of the Flying Fleet, led Erskine to its first-ever Conference Carolinas Championship earlier this week.
Krawinkel, a freshman from Erding, Germany played in 30 rounds and posted a stroke average of 76.3. She finished in the top 10 of three tournaments and in the top 20 five times, as well as delivering a top-7 finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship.
Lindqvist, a freshman from Lahti, Finland finished in the top 25 in three separate tournaments, including the Conference Carolinas Championships and posted an even-par scorecard in the third round of the Lady Bearcat Invitational, her best round of the spring season.
Steingrube, a freshman from Bridel, Luxembourg, posted a top-10 finish at the Lady Bearcat Invitational, where she also earned Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week honors.
Alexander, a sophomore from Duncan, South Carolina, led the Fleet with a team-best 16th-place individually at the Lowtide Intercollegiate, helping the Fleet to fourth-place finish as a team in the event.
McNeece, a freshman from Clinton, Mississippi, saved her best performance of the year for the postseason, finishing tied for third place individually at the Conference Carolinas Championship, where she shot just nine-over across the three rounds, including an even-par scorecard in the momentum-changing Round 2 for the Fleet en route to their first conference title.
Erskine has qualified for next month's NCAA Southeast Regional, which will be held at Chattahoochee GC in Gainesville, Georgia on May 5-7.
