GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Erskine Women's Golf Team continued its 2025 spring season at the Lady Bearcat Invitational, hosted by Lander University, earlier this week. Erskine finished 7th as a team and were led by
Lisa Steingrube, who earned Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week honors after a top-10 finish individually.
Steingrube finished 10th at the Lady Bearcat Invitational, shooting 224. She started with rounds of two-over 74 and one-over 73. Steingrube then closed with a round of 77 to take 10th in a field of nearly 100 golfers.

- The 54-hole event, hosted by Greenwood CC in Greenwood, S.C. is a two-day event.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consists of 16Â teams and a total of 88Â participants

THE FIELD
Wingate won the event by a convincing seven strokes, finishing 13-over par as a team. The Bulldogs were led by individual champion, Amely Bochaton, who finished seven-under par and was the only individual to shoot under-par across all three rounds.

Erskine turns its attention to the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championships, held at Cutter Creek GC in Snow Hill, N.C. on April 6-8.
