DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College baseball team has announced that the format for this weekend's three-game series against Barton College will be changed due to inclement weather. The Fleet and Bulldogs will now play a doubleheader on the morning of Friday, March 11, starting at 10 a.m. There will now only be one scheduled game between the teams on Saturday with the start time yet to be determined.

Game 1 on Friday morning will be a seven-inning affair with the back half of the doubleheader slated to be a full nine-inning game.

Erskine took three of four at Barton last year, but the Bulldogs handed Erskine a heartbreaking 11-10 loss in the Conference Carolinas Tournament last April. Erskine is currently tied for seventh in the conference with a league record of 3-6 while Barton is off to a strong 7-2 start in conference play, where they are tied with North Greenville for third place in the conference.
