SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Erskine College men's golf team began play in the 2021 Conference Carolinas Tournament with a four-over 292 on Sunday and sit in seventh place after the opening round.

CONFERENCE CAROLINAS MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
- The 54-hole event, hosted by Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, N.C. is a three-day tournament.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consists of all nine Conference Carolinas teams and a total of 45 participants.

Barton College (280 - 1st)
University of Mount Olive (282 - 2nd)
Southern Wesleyan University (284 - 3rd)
North Greenville University (286 - 4th)
Belmont Abbey College (288 - 5th)
King University (291 - 6th)
Emmanuel College (306 - 8th)
Chowan University (321 - 9th)
THE FIELD
Ty Campbell (Southern Wesleyan) shot a 62 and is ten strokes below par after the opening round. Austin Duncan (North Greenville) and Kris Jackson (Barton) are both six under par and sit tied for second place. Jackson and Harrison Wierse (-3) led the way for the tournament leading-Bulldogs after Day 1.
