Fleet Fall Short at Limestone

Flying Fleet Acrobatics and Tumbling traveled to Gaffney, SC, to compete against Conference Carolinas opponent Limestone.

The Fleet opened with the Compulsory event. The Toss Heat for this event was Erskine's strongest, where they scored an 8 out of a possible 10 points. The next event was the Acro event, where the Fleet scored much better, earning 21.25 points out of a possible 26.85 for the whole event. The Pyramid and Toss events followed. Each event had three heats, and the Fleet finished within four points of their start value for each event, with the second heat of the Toss earning 8.10 out of 8.80 possible. The final event for the Fleet was the Tumbling event, where the Fleet earned a 7.375 out of 7.5 possible points in the Open Pass. The Fleet finished the meet with a total 130.250.

The Fleet return to Belk arena on March 18 to take on Conference Carolinas opponent King University.
