Egan is originally from the Branson, Missouri Area. She was a competitive gymnast for almost thirteen years with state and regional titles. She was recruited to be on the inaugural acrobatics and tumbling team at Erskine College where she competed in their first season.
Egan served as an officer in the American Chemical Society, was the women's honors dorm representative on the student government association, the president of Philomathean Women, a choraleer, and the scalpel reporter for alpha epsilon delta. She remains heavily involved with her church, Our Lady of Lourdes, in Greenwood where she is a choir member, cantor, and religious education instructor.
She graduated from Erskine with a 3.28 GPA in the spring of 2023 with two degrees, Physical Education with an emphasis in coaching B.S. and Biology B.A.
Egan previously served as head acrobatics and tumbling coach at Erskine, but recently was shifted to help bolster the cheer and dance programs at Erskine with head coach Carly Rogers. Â
