Due West, SC – Former Erskine College men's basketball standout Austin Venable recently signed a professional contract with CB Solares of the Liga EBA league in Spain.  
 
In two seasons with the Fleet, Austin played in 55 games and averaged 15 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks.  He also was named All-Conference twice, while recording 12 double-doubles.  As a senior, Austin led the Fleet in scoring with 14.4 points and 36 blocks while shooting .550 from the field.
