Due West, SC – Newberry defeated Erskine 7-2 Thursday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis play. 
 
Newberry would take a 2-1 lead after doubles, with Nathan Cooper and Liam Buckley winning their match 8-6.  Ritwik Bhriguvanshi would pick up the other point for the Fleet when he won his singles match 6-2, 4-6, 10-5.
