DUE WEST, S.C. – Erskine College announced the return of the Men's Tennis program on Wednesday afternoon, which is set to resume in the 2025-26 season.
Following a six-year period after being discontinued at the conclusion of the 2018 season, the extremely successful Men's Tennis program at Erskine will return next year.
"Men's tennis has a great tradition at Erskine, and it was a sad day when we felt the necessity to shut the program down. I am happy to announce the return of men's tennis in 2025-2026,"Â Erskine Director of Athletics Mark Peeler said. "As we add flag football, it just felt this was the right time to wake up the echoes of men's tennis. I look forward to watching the re-start of this once storied program."
Beginning in the 2025-26 season, the Flying Fleet will re-join Conference Carolinas, becoming the 14th men's tennis member in the league, following the additions of Shorter and Ferrum.
