Due West, SC – On Friday afternoon,
Brandon Overstreet signed a professional contract to play for the Gateway Grizzles of the Frontier League.
Overstreet is coming off a senior season in which he hit .417 with 22 doubles, 11 home runs, 61 RBI's and became the 12
th NCAA Baseball All-American in school history. In his two years at Erskine Overstreet hit .385 with 37 doubles, 21 home runs, 102 RBI's, and slugged .639. He
finished the season ranked 6th in the NCAA in hits (91), 13th in doubles (22), 13th in Total Bases (150), 20th in Runs (62), and 35th in RBI's (61). "We are extremely happy for Brandon, he had a great career for us and was one of the best players to come through here," commented head coach
