Box Score Due West, S.C. – Playing their fourth game in six days, the Erskine Flying Fleet (18-5, 14-2) defeated North Greenville University Crusaders (8-17, 2-12) in straight sets 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 27-25) tonight in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action at Belk Arena.
Erskine had eight players contribute at least one kill, led by
Mike Michelau's 13 kills.
Roberto Perez (Dorado, P.R., Bayamon Military Academy) and
Omar Melendez (San Juan, P.R., Colegio San Ignalio de Loyola) each contributed 9 kills while
Travis McGrand (Yucaipa, CA, Yucaipa High School) knocked down a career-high 8 kills.
Neal Stanley (Apopka, FL, Apopka High School) led the Fleet on the back row with 10 digs.
For the Crusaders, Luuga Vailu'u had 9 kills while Dustin King contributed 12 digs.
Erskine will take time some time off over spring break and returns to action on Saturday, April 11
th against Lees-McRae College.
