Box Score Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (14-4, 10-2) raced past the Lions of Emmanuel College (4-14, 2-11) to win 3 to 0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) tonight in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action at Belk Arena.
 
Led by the Fleet's twin killers Mike Michelau (Trevor, WI, Westosha Central High School) and Roberto Perez (Dorado, P.R., Bayamon Military Academy), the Fleet's offense overwhelmed the Lions.  The Fleet hit .358 on the night compared to the Lions' .188.  Perez crushed 19 kills on 36 attempts while Michelau nailed 12 kills on 25 attempts.  David Grandy (Laguna Hills, CA, Laguna Hills High School) handed out 35 assists on the night.
 
The Lions were led by Jordan Funk's 9 kills, 3 digs, and 2 blocks.
 
Erskine hosts Belmont Abbey College this Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m.
