Box Score Due West, S.C. – Playing a person down and without substitutions, the Erskine Flying Fleet (1-7, 1-5) lost to conference foe Pfeiffer University Falcons (4-3, 3-0) 20 to 0 this afternoon in women's lacrosse action at Huggins Field.
The Flying Fleet entered today's game with four players sitting out due to injuries, leaving only eleven healthy players to play the entire. The Fleet played hard, but with Pfeiffer continuously substituting, wore down over the course of the game.
Pfeiffer's Jacqueline Kennedy scored a game-high 4 goals while Kayla Bennett tallied two goals and assisted on two others. In all, Pfeiffer had twelve players score a goal in today's game. Three Pfeiffer goalkeepers combined for the shutout. Starter Cassidy Wilson played the first half recording 3 saves and earning the win.

Paige Elder (Greenville, SC, J.L. Mann High School) made her first start of the season in the goal today. The sophomore goalkeeper faced 35 shots and recorded 9 saves in taking her first loss of the season.
Erskine travels to face conference powerhouse Limestone College this Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m.
