Box Score Young Harris, Ga. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (0-1) dropped their season opener on the road to the Young Harris Mountain Lions (1-0) 23 to 9 in non-conference women's lacrosse action at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
Senior
Samantha Burns (Hilton Head Island, SC, Hilton Head Island High School) led the Fleet, scoring six of the Fleet's nine goals.
Alanna Carvallo (Nashville, TN, Father Ryan High School),
Mackenzie Brown (Brentwood, TN, Brentwood High School) and
Marley Llinas (Annapolis, MD, Broadneck Senior High School) each scored a goal for the Fleet.
Erskine hosts their first of four straight home games this Wednesday against in-state conference foe North Greenville University. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
