Box Score Due West, S.C. – Trailing by three goals at halftime, the Erskine Flying Fleet (1-1, 1-0) exploded for ten second half goals to beat the Crusaders of North Greenville University (0-2, 0-1) 13 to 10 to give Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Scott Guillerault his first win as a college coach this afternoon at Huggins Field.
Within the first two minutes of the second half, the Fleet tallied two goals to cut the NGU lead 6 to 5 and tied the game a few minutes later on a goal by
Raven Smith (Irmo, SC, Dutch Fork High School). Freshman
Alanna Carvallo (Nashville, TN, Father Ryan High School) scored her second of three goals in the first minute and senior
Samantha Burns (Hilton Head Island, SC, Hilton Head Island High School) followed it up just thirty seconds later with the other goal.
With a little over 17 minutes remaining, Erskine regained the lead they would never relinquish on Mackenzie Brown's first of three goals in the game.
Brown (Brentwood, TN, Brentwood High School) scored all three goals in a five minute span, including her second goal just twenty seconds after her first tally.
Erskine scored the game's first two goals but North Greenville University ended the half scoring four straight goals to take a 6 to 3 lead into the locker room at intermission.
The Fleet had five players scored on the day and were led by Raven Smith's four goals. Carvallo had four assists in addition to her three goals.

Konstandena Brown (Wilmington, NC, John T. Hoggard High School) had a spectacular day between the pipes, recording 18 saves on 36 shots.
The Crusaders were led by Nikki Colwell's three goals. She also had an assist.
