Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (16-6, 9-2) enters the final week of their regular season leading the University of Mount Olive Trojans (13-10, 10-3) by one game in the conference standings. The Flying Fleet will play three road conference games this week starting with the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.

Last week the Flying Fleet suffered their first loss since February 15
th, dropping a thrilling five set decision to Pfeiffer University. The Fleet rebounded two days later to defeat non-conference foe Coker College 3 to 2.
Roberto Perez Vargas (Dorado, P.R., Bayamon Military Academy) knocked down game-highs in both games, drilling 21 and 18 kills respectively. Against Coker Thursday night,
Mike Michelau (Trevor, WI, Westosha Central High School) and
Mike Kawa (Debica, Poland, Elk Grove High School) both posted double-doubles. Michelau shared game-high honors with Vargas with 18 kills and 11 digs while Kawa had 17 kills and 13 digs.
For The Abbey (3-24, 1-13), Tuesday's contest is their last game of their season. The Crusaders are currently in last place in the conference standings and will not participate in next week's conference tournament. The Crusaders have lost their last eight games in a row, including a 3-0 loss to Mount Olive in their last game.
The Crusaders are led by Spencer Fournell's 2.09 kills per set. Defensively, Johnny Gomes leads the Crusaders on the back row averaging 2.7 digs per set, second best in Conference Carolinas.
