Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Men's Tennis Team (1-7, 1-2) snapped a seven-game losing skid, dismantling the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College (2-5, 0-1) 9-0 today at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.

After claiming two doubles matches quickly, Erskine made it a clean sweep when Andre Andre (Setubal, Portugal) and Robert Clarke (Due West, SC, Belton-Honea Path High School) prevailed at #2 doubles 8-5.

In the singles matches, Erskine won five of the six matches in straight sets.  Clarke made it six for six when he overcame a first set loss to win the next two sets 7-5 and 10-3.

Erskine returns to the court next Saturday when the Tornado of King University visits Due West.  Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
