Mount Olive, N.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (0-5, 0-2) concluded their 3-game road trip with an 8 to 1 loss to University of Mount Olive Trojans (7-1, 1-0) in Conference Carolinas men's tennis action.

The match began well for the Flying Fleet as Jason Harris (Benoni, South Africa, Christian Brothers College) and Wilson Mathewes (Greenville, SC, Mauldin High School) teamed up to beat UMO's Edgar Bub and Rik Wolhuis 9 to 8 at the #1 doubles position.

Unfortunately, the Flying Fleet dropped all six singles, five in straight sets.  Andre Andre (Setubal, Portugal) won his first set but dropped the next two sets, including a close second set 7 to 5.

Erskine will look for their first win this Tuesday against local rival Lander University.  The match is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
