Box Score Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (6-5) roasted the Royals of Warner University (3-4) 3 to 1 (25-13, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21) tonight in non-conference men's volleyball action at Belk Arena.

After cruising to a 25 to 13 win in the first set, the Flying Fleet found themselves trailing by six at 17 to 11 in the second set.  Erskine's comeback came up short, losing 25 to 23 but more importantly had regained the momentum that they carried through the next two sets.

Sophomore setter Corey Marks (Southwest Ranches, FL, Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School) once again directed an effective attack handing out 46 assists while also recording 11 digs for his second double-double of the year.

Mike Michelau (Trevor, WI, Westosha Central High School) knocked down a game-high 17 kills while teammate Mike Kawa (Debica, Poland, Elk Grove High School) filled the stat sheet with 13 kills, 9 digs, 7 blocks and a service ace.

Josh Jordan led the Royals with 14 kills and teammate Steven Vaughn chipped in 11 kills.  Vaughn also had 10 digs.

Erskine's next game is Monday night against visiting Emmanuel College.  Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
