Erskine falls to Limestone 74 to 63

Box Score Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet fell to the Limestone Saints 74 to 63 tonight in Conference Carolinas women's basketball action at Belk Arena.

After Erskine overcame a twelve point deficit to tie the game, Limestone closed out the opening period on a 14 to 3 run to take a 36 to 24 lead at intermission.  It was a lead the Fleet could not overcome.  Amazingly nine of the Saints' fourteen points came off of free throws as both teams were whistled for 55 fouls in the game.

Freshman Raygon Hendrix (Summerville, SC, Pinewood Preparatory School) led all-scorers with a game-high 20 points.  Senior Raygon Hendrix (Summerville, SC, Pinewood Preparatory School) came off the bench to grab a season-high 14 rebounds and contribute 13 points.

The Saints had four players finish in double-figures, led by Celestra Warren's 19 points.

Erskine travels to North Greenville University this Saturday before wrapping up their regular season next week with home games against Belmont Abbey and Pfeiffer University.  Game time on Saturday is set for 2 p.m.
