MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-23, 1-18 CC) was defeated by Chowan University (14-8, 12-6 CC) by a score of 94-57 at the Hawks Athletic Center on Saturday.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 29% (22-76) from the field and just 15% (3-20) from the three-point line against a stingy Hawks defense. The Fleet won the turnover battle, 17 to 12, but a first-quarter struggle for the Fleet forced them to play from behind throughout the afternoon.

Erskine wraps up the regular season with a home contest against Shorter University (15-11, 13-6 CC) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
