DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-24, 1-19 CC) was defeated by Shorter University (16-11, 14-6 CC) by a score of 76-59 in the Fleet's final game of the 2025-2026 regular season at Belk Arena on Wednesday evening.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 30% (22-74) from the field and 23% (6-26) from the three-point line against one of the better teams in the Southwest Division of Conference Carolinas. The Fleet won the turnover battle and had a 21 to 12 advantage in points off turnovers, but Shorter totaled 52 points in the paint.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Following Wednesday's action, Erskine did not qualify for the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament, so the Fleet's season came to a close.
