Due West, S.C. - The Erskine Women's Basketball Team will host its annual Women's Basketball Coaches' Association PinkZone Game for Breast Cancer Awareness or THINK PINK on Wednesday, February 19th at 5:30pm when the Flying Flee host Limestone College at Belk Arena.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game in honor of those that have lost their courageous battle with this disease, to encourage and cheer on those who are currently fighting the disease, and to celebrate the survivors that have overcome this disease.
Donations will be accepted with all proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A limited supply of pink t-shirts that the women's basketball team will be wearing during warm-up will also be on sale for $10 throughout the game.
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund and the WBCA PinkZone is a nonprofit organization that has put together this initiative to help raise breast cancer awareness on campuses and communities across the nation.
