Due West, S.C. – After suffering their first conference loss this Saturday, the Erskine Men's Volleyball Team (4-5, 4-1) will look to bounce back against the Limestone College Saints this Tuesday. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Mike Michelau (Trevor, WI, Westosha Central High School) had a tremendous weekend averaging over 5 kills per set in the Fleet's two games. Against Barton, the sophomore outside hitter crushed 16 kills and followed it up against Mount Olive the next day with his third double-double of the season with 25 kills and 10 digs. Unfortunately, the Fleet lost the contest in five sets 3 to 2. With his outstanding performance, Michelau moved into first place in the conference rankings in kills per set and now ranks second nationally.
Setter
Corey Marks (Southwest Ranches, FL, Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School) also continued to put up impressive numbers over the weekend. Against Mount Olive, the team captain posted his first double-double of the season with an impressive 55 assists, second most in his career, along with a career-best 20 digs. Marks continues to lead the conference in assists and ranks third nationally.
The Limestone Saints (8-4, 4-3) enter tomorrow's game seeking to break a two-game losing skid. The Saints lost both their conference matchups this weekend to Barton and Mount Olive. Prior to that, Limestone shutout incoming Conference Carolinas member Emmanuel College 3-0.
The Saints are exceptionally tough defensively, especially at the net. The Saints lead the league in blocks with 139 while averaging better than 9 digs per set.
Middle hitters Joel Muhlbach and Curtis Van Grinsven lead the conference in blocks at 1.14 and 1.12 respectively while teammate Andrew Miller is third in digs per set, averaging 2.63 digs per set.
Offensively, outside Eric Zaun leads the Saints in kills per set with 3.70. Jon Schaefer is second on the team averaging 2.63 kills per set.
