Box Score Due West, S.C. – Visiting St. Leo University (7-5) sprinted out to a 9-0 halftime lead to defeat the Erskine Flying Fleet (5-9) 13-2 in non-conference women’s lacrosse action at Huggins Field.
Erskine struggled to get the ball past St. Leo’s goalkeeper Brittany Millsap. Millsap recorded 11 saves on 14 shots, yielding just two goals. Junior
Kelly Dalziel (Ocean, NJ, Ocean Township High School) broke up Millsap’s shutout, placing a perfect shot in the lower corner with a little over five minutes remaining. Sophomore
Samantha Burns (Hilton Head Island, SC, Hilton Head Island High School) added the Fleet’s second goal two minutes later.
St. Leo was led by Alix Murray and Joanna Chadwick with 3 goals and an assist each.

Konstandena Brown (Wilmington, NC, John T. Hoggard High School) faced 23 shots, surrendering 13 goals while saving eight.
Erskine returns to action on Monday against Belmont Abbey College starting at 4:00 p.m.
