Aiken, S.C. – Erskine lost 9 to 0 to #30 USC-Aiken today in non-conference men’s tennis action at the USC-Aiken Tennis Complex.

Erskine (7-8) played well at #1 and #2 doubles but fell 8-4 and 8-5 respectively.  The Pacers won at #3 doubles 8-1.

In the singles matches, the Pacers won all six matches in straight sets although both Jack West (Belton, SC, Emerald High School)and Robert Clarke (Due West, SC, Belton-Honea Path High School) pressed their opponents.  West lost 6-4, 6-2 at #1 singles while Clarke went down 6-2, 6-3 at #5 singles.

Erskine will host conference foe Pfeiffer University on Thursday starting at 2:30 p.m.
