Erskine loses to Harvard 3-0

Box Score Cambridge, Mass. – Erskine (13-14) concluded their spring trip with a 3-0 loss (20-25, 23-25, 19-25) to Harvard University (13-7) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men’s volleyball action at the Malkin Athletic Center.

Erskine struggled offensively throughout the match, hitting only .111 on the day, while committing 21 attack errors and 18 service errors.  The 18 service errors were most for the Fleet since their match against Emmanuel College back on February 23rd.

Freshman Mike Kawa led the Fleet with a game-high 12 kills, 3 digs and 3 blocks while teammate Omar Melendez had 8 kills.
The Fleet did well defensively, limiting Harvard to just a .222 hitting percentage.

Harvard was led by D.J. White with 10 kills while teammate Nick Madden had 8 kills, 6 blocks, and 4 digs. 

Erskine wraps up their regular season this Wednesday against conference opponent Pfeiffer University starting at 7:00 p.m. 

Erskine is currently tied with Lees-McRae for 3rd place in the conference standings and has a half game lead over Limestone for 4th place.
