Box Score Quincy, Ill. – Erskine concluded the Quincy Crossover Tournament with a 3-0 (17-25, 24-26, 23-25) loss to Lindenwood University today at the Quincy Health and Fitness Center.
Erskine (10-12) was held well below their season hitting percentage, posting just .099 hitting percentage in the game. Sophomore
Neal Stanley (Apopka, FL, Seminole State College) and freshman
Mike Kawa (Debica, Poland, Elk Grove High School) led the Fleet with 9 kills each.
Erskine had difficulty getting into their offense as Lindenwood served 8 aces against the Fleet.
Lindenwood was led by Colin Hackworth’s game-high 10 kills.
Erskine returns home to face New Jersey Institute of Technology on Monday. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
