Box Score Due West, S.C. – On Senior Day, Erskine lost to Limestone 1-0 this afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's soccer action at Huggins Field.
Limestone scored the game's lone goal midway through the opening period.  Limestone's Helen Winterburn sent a long pass into the box that found its way to Tori Waddell on the far side.  In a one-on-one with the Erskine keeper 
Ashton Burgess (Greenwood, SC, Emerald High School) Waddell placed the ball on the near side.
Erskine had to golden opportunities in the second half but failed to capitalize on them.  Limestone's goalkeeper failed to clear the ball, sending it directly to an Erskine player.  Erskine's shot flew wide of the goal.
Late in second half, the Fleet played a ball into the box and the shot again flew wide of the goal.
Burgess made several nice saves in the game to give the Fleet an opportunity to tie the game.  Burgess finished with 6 saves on 15 shots.
Erskine concludes their season at 1-15 and 1-7 in conference play.
