DUE WEST-- Erskine College Director of Athletics and Head Men's Basketball Coach Mark Peeler has been named to the NCAA Men's Basketball Rules Committee beginning September 1st. Peeler will serve a four-year term. The Rules Committee is comprised of six Division I members, three Division II, and three Division III. Peeler will complete a four-year term in September on the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee where he has chaired the Southeast Region and overseen the officials at the Elite 8.

"The past four years on the D-II men's basketball committee has been one of the rewarding professional experiences of my career. The people I have met along the way made the journey so worthwhile. I look forward to the opportunity to be on the rules committee to help influence and impact the way basketball is played at all levels of the NCAA. I feel honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the NCAA,: remarked Peeler who recently completed his 13th year at Erskine College.
