Gaffney, SC – Erskine Lacrosse lost on the road 21-0 to nationally ranked Limestone College.  It was the season opener for both schools.  Limestone opens the season pre-season ranked #5 in the nation.

Limestone’s Racquel Prager scored the first goal of game as Limestone scored 11 goals in the first 15 minutes of the game.  Limestone led 14-0 at halftime.

Erskine had a few scoring opportunities but could not find the back of the net.  Defensively, Erskine limited Limestone to seven goals in the second half.

Erskine held a slight advantage in ground ball controls at 23-20.

Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Overley (Columbia, SC, Blythewood) finished with 11 saves.
