Due West, SC – Limestone College defeated Erskine 24 to 0 at Huggins Field in Conference Carolinas women’s lacrosse action. In just their 2nd year of existence, the young Fleet team (0-16, 0-6) worked hard against the #4 ranked Limestone College Saints (11-1, 3-0) but Limestone’s experience and depth was too much.
Limestone College had fifteen players score a goal in the game and was led by senior Renee Albro, who scored 5 goals on 7 shots.
The Fleet’s goalkeeper, Kaitlyn Overley, had another solid game in the net with had 11 saves.
The Fleet wrap up their season next Tuesday at Pfeiffer University. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
