Due West, SC – Erskine lost to archrival Anderson University 8 to 1 in Conference Carolinas men’s tennis action.  Anderson breezed through the doubles competition winning all three sets.  In singles play, Caleb Barnes and Angelo Ciarrocchi forced three sets.  Angelo Ciarrocchi won his third set 10 to 8 to win his match but, unfortunately Caleb Barnes lost his third set by the same score.  Anderson won the other matches in straight sets with Erskine’s Fabio Ciarrocchi retiring in his second set due to injury.  The Fleet are now 6-9 on the season and 2-4 in Conference Carolinas.
