Greenwood, SC – Erskine men's tennis lost a match to Nationally ranked No.16 Lander University 8-1 Wednesday afternoon.  Following the loss, Erskine falls to 3-8 overall. 

In singles, No. 1 Nemanja Brcan (E) def. Damien Cordesse, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8; No. 2 Sheharyar Wali (L) def. Caleb Barnes, 6-3, 6-4; No. 3 Levan Clark (L) def. Angelo Ciarrocchi, 6-3, 7-5; No. 4 Juan Manrique (L) def. Faboio Ciarrocchi, 6-1, 6-1; No. 5 Carlos Marques (L) def. Vincent Chauvette, 6-3, 6-4; and No. 6 Maxime Desmars (L) def. Ryan Miller, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, No. 1 Michael Fedoseyev/Wali (L) def. Barnes/A. Ciarrocchi, 8-5; No. 2 Clark/Cordesse (L) def. Brcan/F.Ciarrocchi, 8-4; and No. 3 T.C. Valle/Gary Bertoldo (L) def. Chauvette/Miller, 8-2.

Erskine will return to action Friday afternoon as they host Coker College.
